Attorneys for Adrian Martinez deplore his terrifying abduction and demand his immediate release from ICE detention

LOS ANGELES – Attorneys at the Miller Law Group blasted the United States Border Patrol for their terrifying and illegal abduction of Adrian Martinez.

“Adrian Martinez is a hard working young man who just graduated from high school,” his attorneys said. “He is a U.S. citizen, he works at Walmart, and he did nothing to justify being grabbed by the throat by heavily-armed and masked agents and thrown into a Border Patrol vehicle. Adrian was concerned about the wellbeing of an elderly janitorial worker being targeted by the federal agents when he was assaulted and abducted.”

Martinez suffered abrasions and bruising across his body, and has not received medical care.

“Federal agents, masked and carrying long rifles, are deliberately using tactics that terrorize Angelenos and it is unacceptable. The federal agents seem to have singled out today, Juneteenth or Freedom Day, to launch even more raids. We had the chance to meet with Adrian today, who is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles. We are demanding his immediate release and that any charges be dropped.”
